How do I adopt in Connecticut?

If you are a resident of Connecticut, you can attempt to find a child on your own (identified adoption), or you can use an agency (traditional adoption) to help find a child. In either case, Jewish Family Service can help with:

Additionally, you can meet other Connecticut families that have successfully and happily adopted from the same agency that you have chosen. Groups of families that have adopted from the same agency often get together so their adoptive children can spend time with other adoptive children. JFS has met with Connecticut adoptive parents gathering in Newtown, Fairfield, New Haven and Hartford.
